Founded by Sophia D’Mar Shimun in 1972, Maison Tenn20 — formerly Sophia’s Drapery Workroom — is currently run by her daughter, Surma Mauro, and granddaughter, Saskia Mauro. Located in San Francisco's historic Dogpatch neighborhood, our custom workroom specializes in draperies and soft furnishings for residential and hospitality projects. 

 

Working side by side with internationally renowned designers and architects, our mission is to turn their visions into a reality. Throughout the United States and abroad, we have established a clientele that values our aesthetic and attention to detail in cities like Los Angeles, New York, Singapore, Paris, and London. We have contributed to projects featured in major style magazines, including Elle Décor, Architectural Digest, NY Times Style Magazine, Town & Country, and House & Garden, and have consulted for the esteemed brand Restoration Hardware.

 

For over 50 years, we have produced draperies, Roman shades, four-poster bed treatments, coverlets, pillows, and table covers. Every project is uniquely created to fit our client’s needs.
